I am 21 years old and live in Hamburg. I was in Uganda in 2014 and fell in love with the country and the children from the orphanage in the blink of an eye. Even though there were difficult moments, all these experiences and impressions from my stay are unforgettable. After my first stay in Masindi, I missed everyone so much that in April 2015 I flew there again to visit my Window of Life family. I had another wonderful time and enjoyed seeing how the children had grown, become an inseparable part of the Window of Life family, and were speaking English better and better. I’m happy that I met Marta a few years ago, which resulted in me being able to be part of such a wonderful project.
